March 3rd, 2015 (Seattle, WA.) Paying forward the grace and generosity they were once shown, Seattle's The Classic Crime will be hitting the road this spring with a different kind of mission; to champion the working class bands and locals who are struggling to make their names known. Tagging along will be Megosh (Revival Recordings) and Hearts Like Lions (Tooth & Nail records). The Classic Crime is striving to buck the traditional touring ideologies by offering a chance to any band to plead their case to open the tour in their respective cities. This is a tour meant to inspire community and support.

"Tour packages are normally compiled by pulling favors, accepting tour support, or attempting to pack the shows out with an expensive line-up, starting the whole thing in a deep hole where ticket sales become a source of anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I want these shows to fill up with people, and we think getting local bands involved may help promote the shows, but ultimately we don't care about looking cool or booking tours the same way we've done them in the past. We want to do it more responsibly so everyone has a chance to succeed, and bands can be given a shot on their own merit, not on favors they pull or money they spend."

-Vocalist Matt MacDonald
